Transparent Fees &
Pro Bono Commitment
Charities and faith-based organisations must use resources wisely. We believe high-quality legal advice should be accessible, proportionate and transparent.
We provide clear fee information before work begins, and we are committed to keeping advice proportionate to your organisation's size and resources.
Our Approach to Fees
Clear, proportionate and transparent
We provide clear fee estimates before work begins, explain what is and is not included, and keep advice proportionate. We will tell you if a matter is likely to become disproportionately costly.
Fixed fees
For defined, clearly scoped work — you know exactly what you will pay before we start.
Capped fees
Where scope may evolve — a maximum cost agreed upfront, so there are no unexpected bills.
Staged fees
For larger projects — fees broken into stages so costs are manageable and predictable.
Pro Bono & Added-Value Support
Our pro bono and added-value commitment
Where appropriate, we may provide pro bono advice or added-value support on a discretionary basis, within agreed scope and limits. Pro bono is not guaranteed and does not create an ongoing entitlement; all work is delivered to the same professional standards as paid work.
How pro bono support works
- Offered on a discretionary, case-by-case basis
- Agreed scope and limits set out clearly before work begins
- Does not create an ongoing entitlement to free advice
- All work delivered to the same professional standards as paid work
- Available to charities and faith-based organisations we act for
What we do not advise on
We do not advise on charity law regulation or Charity Commission matters. If you need specialist charity regulatory advice, we will tell you early and help you find suitable advisers.
